LED bulbs do have some demerits
Despite of having merits, the LED bulbs have some demerits also. Depending upon application, LED bulbs have both advantages as well as disadvantages. Here in this article we are going to discuss about the disadvantages of the LED bulbs. The output of color for the LED bulbs has been said to be unpredictable and inconsistent despite of being labels of blue-white or warm-white. The time may be taken more by the manufacturers for making their manner of processing perfect. As the most of the LED bulbs consists of many LED, the light which is emitted forms shadows.
The brightness of the LED bulbs is rated often equal wattage that incandescent light has. But one should consider that the Wattages are power’s unit and not the brightness, and brightness has been measured always in Lumens. With the passage of time the brightness of the LED bulbs will start diminishing and burn out at one point. The common factor which causes the burn out of these bulbs is voltage fluctuations. Due to voltage fluctuations they may get damaged. LED bulbs, although has a very big lifespan but they are said to be very much sensitive in case of wide fluctuations in voltage, which can even permanently burn them out.
